Yields 6 servings
- 6 lemons
- 1 cup white sugar
- 6 cups cold water
- Firmly roll the lemons between your hand and counter top and cut in half.
- Juice the lemons (makes 1 cup of juice).
- In a gallon pitcher, combine 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup sugar and 6 cups cold water.
- Stir and adjust water to taste.
- Chill and serve over ice.
