A long weekend and a new season of “Arrested Development” is a match made in heaven. In no particular order, here’s a list of some staff favorites that we hope make a reappearance for season four.

Disclaimer: If this list seems a little skewed in favor of David Cross, it’s because we hear the Atlanta native loves to check out Spoon shows in his hometown in a laid-back manner. Plus, he’s really funny.

Mrs. Featherbottom

A strange combination of Mary Poppins, Mrs. Doubtfire and Tobias Funke, Mrs. Featherbottom’s cheery cardigans and pithy quips won the hearts and minds of viewers. In what may be the funniest five seconds of season two, Tobias Funke’s alter ego (dressed as an elderly British nanny) opens an umbrella and jumps from the second story foyer into the living room. Beat that, “Family Guy.”

Maeby Funke, CEO

Sometimes it takes the talent of a teenager to run a huge corporation or movie studio — just ask high-powered exec Maeby. Marry me!

Never-Nudes

A terrifying disease with no known cure in which the afflicted are unable to be naked, and therefore wear cutoff jean shorts under their clothes. Cognitive therapy can help, but relapses frequently occur. The percentage of the population affected is unknown, but many celebrities suffer from the condition, including Girls With Low Self Esteem creator Phillip Litt. In more relevant terms for T.V. viewers, it means grown men running around in cutoff jean shorts with a straight face.

A Magic Trick

It’s an illusion, not a trick, people. Come on!

Lucille (The Original)

Perhaps the most quotable (and offensive) character on the show, the Bluth family matriarch has come a long way from her humble origins as a Stuckey’s employee. Actress Jessica Walter plays Lucille to tipsy perfection, stealing almost every scene she’s in.

Lucille and Buster. Lucille and Michael. Lucille and Linsday. Lucille and George Senior. Lucille and Gob. Lucille and Tobias. All Lucille, all the time.

Note: Two SweetJack team members once chose to liven up the workday by communicating in nothing but Lucille Bluth quotes all day long. A highly recommended exercise.

A Blue Tobias

Let’s hear more of the story of a guy that lived in a blue world and look for random blue stains throughout the house.

Ice the Bounty Hunter

We’re not saying we hope a private detective is needed for season four (unless it’s to finally track down the seal that attacked Buster), but if the occasion arises, Ice would be our first pick.

Honorable Mentions

J. Walter Weatherman

Annyong

Dr. Funke’s 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution

– co – authored by Kristen Cassel

Summer’s unofficial kickoff weekend is finally here! Whether you’re taking a staycation to veg out at home this Memorial Day weekend or you’re hopping on the beach bum bandwagon, celebrating summer always tastes better with a cocktail. Not just fru-fru drinks for the ladies, this summer’s cocktail menu includes some flavors for the fellas. Shaken or stirred, these drinks are worth your sip.

For the girls:

Riesling Strawberry Slushies

2 ½ cups hulled strawberries

1 bottle (750ml) dry Riesling

1 tbsp fresh lime juice

2 ½ tbsp sugar

Directions
Reserve one cup of Riesling, cover and place in fridge to chill. In a food processor, puree strawberries with the remaining wine, lime juice and sugar. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid. When you’re ready to serve, puree the ice cubes with the remaining wine in your blender! Sip and savor!

Spike Blueberry Lemonade

As you’re plotting your summer vacation, you’re likely considering a beach destination. Between the waves, the rays and the easy-breezy culture, what’s not to love? When narrowing down your list of travel options (we know, our country is packed full of coastline) consider parking your beach chair at one of these five fab spots. Once you’ve got the destination in mind, you can rest assured you’ll receive some well-deserved R&R.

Newport Beach, California
Follow the stars! Pencil in beach time next time you’re in L.A. and sun alongside celebs at this Orange County hub. Besides the active wake and scenic mountain views, you’ve got your pick of upscale restaurants, hotels and nightclubs (not to mention Hollywood Hills) and a slew of events like the Hyatt’s Summer Concert Series.

Waikiki, Oahu
Jet-set to paradise at this popular Hawaiian oasis for surf-lovers and culture hounds. Besides the awe-inducing natural splendors (volcanoes! mountains! palm trees!) and top-caliber surf, you’re also a stone’s throw from the aquarium, the zoo and a buzzing shopping district.

Pensacola Beach
Even though it’s my hometown, Pensacola Beach still captures screen time in my imagination every summer. With its snow-white beaches and incredible eats (chow on the Parmesan oysters at Peg Leg Pete’s or order a Bushwacker at Flounder’s), it’s a picture perfect, family friendly destination with plenty to do and see. Plus, it doesn’t feel like a tourist trap. Head down the road toward Ft. Pickens, and you’ll catch nearly untouched beaches.

Hilton Head
Find southern hospitality at its best with a trip to this scenic beach village sandwiched between Charleston and Savannah. Golf lovers, you’ve got some world-famous courses here—take advantage of it. Indulge on fresh seafood, premier shopping and posh luxury hotels.

Martha’s Vineyard
This artist’s retreat offers ample allure with its laidback lifestyle, picturesque views and small-town charm. Bike around the island, eat at a mom-and-pop restaurant (no big chains around here!), view the lighthouses (fellas, this could be a good spot for a proposal) and clock in some serious porch time as you take in the breeze and the New England seas.

Smart travel tip: Scan vrbo.com for beach houses for rent. You can secure luxe accommodations for a fraction of the price of a condo (and score twice as much space) when you share a house with friends.
